October 3, 2024 – December 5, 2024
No matter what stage of community school development you are in, gathering, analyzing, and communicating about your data is a foundational practice. Whether it’s undergoing a formal assets and needs assessment process, gauging the impact of an external partnership, or measuring progress towards goals, community school practitioners work with data all the time.
…Or do they?
“Data” can mean different things to different people. Each of us has a different comfort level with gathering, analyzing and using data, and many of us aren’t engaging with our data as much as we could (and know that we should)–especially if we’re only doing it to check a box. If any of this sounds familiar, we have a learning opportunity for you!
Facilitated by the Community Schools Learning Exchange (CSLX) and Public Profit, the Community School Building Blocks: Assets and Needs Assessment Learning Series is a virtual offering designed to help community school practitioners across roles, and of all stages of development, understand the different types of data that are important to community school development, learn and practice strategies for gathering, analyzing and digging deeper into data, and make an action plan for using data to drive equity and effective interest holder engagement.
Location
All sessions in the Community School Building Blocks: Assets and Needs Assessment Learning Series are 100% virtual. You will join your fellow participants on Zoom via the links and instructions sent to you over email.
Note: The Assets & Needs Assessment Learning Series is available as a package of three individual workshops that will be held from October - December, 2024. When registering for the series, you have the option to either purchase the series as a package, or register for each workshop individually, depending on the topics that interest and pertain to you and your teams the most.
