At CSLX, we believe all young people deserve access to relationship-centered, supportive, and equitable school communities where learning is culturally-rooted, inclusive, rigorous, and relevant.
Community schools offer an opportunity to co-create with educators, students, families, community partners, and public agencies to transform the way we do school.
We need each other to succeed.
We work directly with districts, municipal agencies, community-based organizations, and the state-wide system of support to build and strengthen community school strategies. Our work includes:
Direct coaching, consulting, and strategic thought partnership with schools, districts, partner agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen community school strategies.
Facilitating spaces of peer learning, professional development, and collaborative practice that fosters a network of skilled community school practitioners.
Creating, curating, and/or co-constructing community school knowledge and research that centers youth, family and practitioner voice and experience.
Engaging policy influencers and decision makers to advocate for changes to legislation and state policy that reflect practitioner needs and experience.
