Community Schools Practitioners: Implementing Your Vision for Change

The 21CSLA Alameda Regional Academy, in partnership with the Community Schools Learning Exchange (CSLX), is proud to present Community Schools Practitioners: Implementing Your Vision For Change.

The focus of this Community of Practice (CoP) is to support community school practitioners to implement a Vision for Change and create an Action Plan for Fall 2023.

Participants will:

• Strengthen community school strategies through structured feedback;

• Deepen their content knowledge around the enabling conditions for success, including shared purpose, a culture of trust, and structures that foster collaborative work;

• Refine and implement their Action Plans (applied projects) that focus on a previously identified need involving a specific stakeholder group in their school/district community;

• Identify ways to increase community engagement through validation and allyship.
  

The Community of Practice will occur in a HYBRID format and will begin on the following dates:

• Pre-Session for New Participants - Tuesday, September 5, 2023: 9:30-11:30 AM

• Session One for All Participants - Tuesday, September 12, 2023: 9:30 - 11:30 AM
  

Site-based Community School coordinators, school principals, and teacher leaders are encouraged to participate.
