California’s shift to ongoing funding for community schools marks an exciting new chapter for the field—and raises an important question for districts: Now what?

This free webinar is designed to help district and community school leaders move beyond the mechanics of the new CCSPP apportionment and think intentionally about what this moment can make possible for students, families, and communities. Together, we’ll explore how districts can use this opportunity to deepen their community school strategy rather than simply absorb new funding into existing systems. We’ll also look at lessons and promising practices emerging from communities already doing this work and create space for participants to surface their own questions, challenges, and opportunities through polls and live Q&A.

You’ll leave with:

1
A clearer understanding of what the shift to ongoing CCSPP apportionment means for the next phase of community school development;
2
Key questions to help your district move from funding decisions to intentional, coherent strategy;
3
Practical considerations for aligning community school efforts with existing district and site priorities and plans;
4
Lessons and promising practices from districts already engaged in the work; and,
5
Greater clarity about what your team may need to strengthen, deepen, and sustain community schools over time.
